What is a lapel pin?
A lapel pin is a small pin, usually made of metal, worn on clothing sometimes worn on the lapel of a jacket, attached to a hat, or displayed on a piece of fabric. Lapel pins often display a logo or can indicate an affiliation with a cause or an organization or it could just be a design that a person likes.
How much do lapel pins cost?
The cost of custom lapel pins can range from $.59 or less to several dollars per piece. The cost is determined on the lapel pin style, size, quantity, amount of colors and additional options that might be sought, such as sliders, glow in the dark enamel paint, danglers and more. How do I make my own lapel pins?
Making your own lapel pins starts with a concept of a design that you would like to have created. This concept can be written in text, drawn by hand, a digital design, or you can you use an online lapel pin designer. Once the design concept is completed you can email your concept to our team to get a quote and digital mockup, which can be tweaked to ensure it is perfect. Once you are happy with the design you place your order and your pins will arrive within the quoted time period.
What is the minimum order requirement?
We don’t have a minimum order requirement. You can order 1 lapel pin or thousands of pins. For the best pricing we do suggest 100 pieces or more for your order, however, this is not required.
What materials are used to make lapel pins?
All of our pins are made of metal and then enamel paint can be used to color the design. Depending on the type of lapel pin chosen, the base metal will be one of the following:
- Copper
- Brass
- Bronze
- Iron
- Stainless steel
- Zinc Alloy
- Aluminum
